PE |
PE in Y6 will take place on a Thursday. Please come to school in your PE kit on this day. Please ensure no earrings are worn. PE Kit: Dark trainers, plain dark shorts/jogging bottoms, white t-shirt. A school jumper can be worn over the top during colder months. If your child does not come to school in their PE kit, the parents will be contacted to bring their PE kit into school. |

Homework |
Homework in Y6 will be set each Thursday and should be completed by the following Monday. Homework will include Maths and English work which will be set via SeeSaw. Pupil logins are in planners. |

Spelling |
Spellings in Y6 will be sent out each week on a Monday with a weekly spelling test taking place the following Monday. |
|
Reading |
Home reading must take place at least three times per week. Diaries will be checked daily with rewards for those who consistently read at home to support their learning. |
|
Year 6 SATs |
Y6 SATS take place each year in May. Parent meetings are held during the year to provide more details. This year, SATS assessments will take place 8th -11th May 2023. Please follow the below link |

Residential |
Each year, our Y6 pupils have the opportunity to attend a 5 day residential. This year, pupils will be heading to Stanley Head Outdoor Education Centre from 15th-19th May 2023. |
